A dish of mushrooms and leeks - contributed by Becky Hoover
  • 8 ounces mushrooms
  • 1 leek
  • 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon strong powder (spices such as pepper, cardamom, etc.), or to taste
Slice the mushrooms.  Slice the leeks small using mostly the white although some of the green, as you wish.  Add the strong powder and boil in the broth until cooked.
