DESCRIPTION: How to make a puff pastry

To make Pan puffe.

Take the stuffe of Stockefrytters and for his paest take a quantitie of ale and a lytell yest and sugre / mace and saffron / than heate it on a chafingdish and put it to your flower with the yolke of a rawe egge and so after this maner make vp your paest.

To make Pan puff.

Take the stuff of Stockfritters and for his paste take a quantity of ale and a little yeast and sugar / mace and saffron / then heat it up on a chafingdish and put it to your flour with the yolk of a raw egg and so after this manner make up your paste.
